Grow Fresh Food Indoors — Year-Round, Any Space, No Guesswork
We write independent reviews and buyer’s guides for indoor food growing. Smart gardens, vertical hydroponic towers, grow tents, LED grow lights, hydroponic nutrients, and the monitoring tools that keep your plants alive. Every recommendation is calibrated for real food crops — tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, herbs, strawberries, microgreens — not cannabis.
We don’t accept paid placements. We don’t take product gifts in exchange for coverage. We earn a small commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Read how we work.

What Makes This Site Different
We only cover food crops. No cannabis content. Every PPFD target, CFM calculation, nutrient recipe, and equipment recommendation is calibrated for the crops you actually eat — not the crops that dominate every other indoor growing site.
We tell you when NOT to buy. Most smart garden owners don’t need a carbon filter. Most food growers don’t need VPD tracking. Most lettuce growers only need one bag of MaxiGro, not a 3-part nutrient system. We’d rather lose a commission than recommend something you don’t need.
We show our math. The Masterblend Calculator and PPFD Cheat Sheet are free tools with published formulas anyone can verify. Our methodology page explains how we evaluate products and what “independent” actually means.
